History

Shri Vaishnav Educational and Charitable Trust, Indore was formed in 1951.

The Parent body of this Trust is Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapda Market Committee. This committee was established in 1884 by Cloth Industrialists and Merchants. It is dedicated to the service of the Society and the Nation.

In the field of education, the Trust is running five colleges in the areas of Management, Engineering, Commerce, and Law & Teachers Training. Apart from these institutes, the Trust runs many Higher Secondary Schools for children. Shri Vaishnav Medical College and research Centre is another Institute in the process of its completion. Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth is likely to be declared as a Deemed University by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The above colleges will function under the umbrella of SHRI VAISHNAV VIDYAPEETH.
